Edinburgh Fringe Festival
If anyone is thinking of visiting Edinburgh, August in my opinion would be the best time. Apart from the fact August is in the summer months, which means Scotland is more likely to get some sunshine, The Edinburgh Fringe Festival is on throughout the whole of August. There are hundreds of shows to go and see in venues all around Edinburgh from comedy shows to plays, there is something for everyone. Myself and my friend went to The Three Sisters or 'The Free Sisters' as it is known over the festival to see some free comedy shows. There are loads of free comedy shows going on in different venues throughout the city. The Free Sisters have created different venues in their grounds and buildings to showcase comedy shows in. They even have a yurt and an old bus in their courtyard that hosts comedy shows everyday.
