Michael Neave, Old Fishmarket Close

Whilst browsing through the internet, I discovered an excellent restaurant called Michael Neave with a great express lunch menu. The restaurant is on Old Fishmarket Close, just off the Royal Mile. The restaurant itself is quite costly for food which makes the £7.95 lunch menu an even better deal!

The menu changes daily so it gives you the chance to try out new dishes every time you go. There are three choices of starters and main courses and for dessert you get a coffee and a brownie. You have the option to take away your dessert which is a benefit if you have to head off somewhere quickly after your lunch.

For starter I chose the salmon which came in a sushi roll style with salmon pate and smoked salmon rolled together. It was delicious! For main I chose the chicken and again it tasted lovely. I was really looking forward to coming here and it didn't disappoint. Since I don't have much of a sweet tooth I gave my friends my brownie to share and apparently it tasted excellent too!

If you are looking for somewhere to go out for lunch but don't want to go anywhere too expensive, then I suggest you try out Michael Neave. Quality food and only £7.95 for three course, can't get a better bargain than that!?
